History: Jordan’s capital, Amman, is considered among the oldest cities in the world which dates back to 4300 BC. It has been inhabited by different civilizations including Assyrians, Persians, Macedonians, Nabataeans, and the Ottomans. Amman is also well-known for the high number of medical tourists who visit Jordan due to the high quality and cost effective medical treatment available in the country.
