Old Christian books found in a cave near by Amman

Jordan contains several historical sites which hold religious significance for the Christians. Among these sites important ones are Bethany Beyond the Jordan, Mount Nebo and several other places in Southern Jordan where the narrative of Christianity was unfolded during the lifetime of Jesus Christ and before him Moses, Jacob, and Aaron. The large church in Madaba near Amman has exquisite mosaic work. Several ancient Christian artifacts have been excavated from different historical sites throughout Jordan. The Christian crusader castles in Ajloun and Kerak speak of the battles fought in the name of Christianity in Jordan. Fuheis and Al Husn are exclusively Christian towns in Jordan with large Christian populations.
